CHILDRENS MINISTRY

Children are our future. Recent events indicate that the world is becoming evil and darker around us, it’s extremely important and our responsibility to provide our children with a solid foundation in the word of God. At Dominion Temple, a necessary foundation is built throughout each age level with the same emphasis as adults. Children are exposed to and taught the word of God at a tender age. It is our belief and responsibility to position the saints in the world as leaders thoroughly equip with the word of God. This ministry provides nurturing and loving environment for infants, toddlers and teenagers to learn to hear the voice of God, know God and His purpose. Dominion Kids participate in Praise & Worship, Prayer, Bible studies, Story time, Music and many fun activities. They learn to memorize and recite scriptures, reference the Bible for Salvation, Healing, Faith and Prayer etc.; and are able to apply the principles of leading someone to Christ. Much more Dominion Kids know how to be occupied with Jesus. Our teams of Spirit-filled teachers are well equipped to provide the molding of children from toddler years to age thirteen. Age Levels

FACILITIES MINISTRY

The Facilities Ministry is responsible for the upkeep of the Church building, offices and external property, as well as supporting the ministries of the church and special projects.

PERFORMING ART MINISTRY

The Performing Arts Ministry consist of; Drama, Choreography, Dance and Poetry. This is the most attractive ministry for children, youth and young adult in the church. Although it consists of budding and fledging young adult, youth and children, this ministry uses all forms of Art within and outside the church as a ministry tool to convey biblical messages to audiences. Ideas, concepts and stories from the Bible are discussed and developed into scripts for drama, dance/choreography and poetry. These performances are carried out on different platforms, strictly for ministry and as a result salvation, healing and deliverances have been experienced.

FAMILY ENRICHMENT / COUPLES MINISTRY

This Ministry helps build Christ-centered marriages through pre-marital counseling; seminars that feature practical teaching and interactive learning to help couples keep their marriages on solid ground Family Enrichment Ministry is designed to prepare married, singles, seriously dating, engaged persons, separated, divorced and widow persons for successful experience in all relationships. It exists to provide biblical principles and practical life applications to the groups mentioned above. The Scriptural philosophy is taken from the Old Testament Book of Hosea 4:6, “My people perish for lack of knowledge”. Inscribe below are some of the objectives this ministry seeks to accomplish Uncover God’s purposes for men and women. Discover the uniqueness of the man and woman. Teach submission, respect, and honor in relationships. Place at the disposal of partner’s communication guidelines and tools in relationships. Provide skills necessary for conflicts resolution within relationships Provide an awareness of the impact our family relationships have upon our relationships with others. Unlock Scriptural keys for intimacy. Identify God’s principles of budgeting and finance, and their practical application to our lives.

HOSPITALITY MINISTRY

Hospitality is a gracious act of service to others without expectations of reward, but with kindness, compassion and consideration. Hospitality Ministry exists to ensure that all our social requirements and needs are met during any given church programs either within or externally. This includes catering to in-house social events, as well as ministering to the social needs of our guest speakers and visitors. We also serve as an advisory, supervisory and guidance for such services as accommodation and transportation for any events.

COUNSELING MINISTRY

The Counseling Ministry provides biblical counseling to the body of believers and non-believers who visit ICGC New York and desire to make it their home church. The Counseling Ministry provides Christ-centered counseling, support and other services for individuals, couples and families. The Counseling Ministry is a place where you will discover that you can be heard, understood, and accepted just the way you are. This ministry also provides a nurturing environment for new believers, emphasizing a deep and committed relationship with Jesus Christ. The focus of this ministry is to guide and direct new believers to God’s Word. At the Counseling Ministry, we are compelled by God’s love to serve His kingdom in all we do and say. We approach each meeting with the following goals:

• Share God’s truth and wisdom with those seeking direction and guidance.
• Offer hope and healing to those in need.
• Encourage Christians to experience God’s love and guidance through counselors called to serve God and our generation.

YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY

Dominion Temple Young Adult Ministry (dt-YAM) equips young adults to declare, communicate and demonstrate the purpose, power, precepts, and principles of the Kingdom of God. dt-YAM has a dynamic and a powerful Holy Ghost worship experience coupled with a life-changing word ministration and a wonderful opportunity for young adults to fellowship every Friday Night at Dominion Temple. This Ministry comprises college students, young professionals, singles, and married couples of Dominion Temple as well young adults from across the New York metropolis. Dominion Temple Young Adult Ministry stands tall on these five principles: Strong Biblical Teaching, Education, Community Service, Young Professionals Network, and Godly Relationships. Dominion Temple Young Adult Ministry party fellowships present opportunity for young adults to interact at specific locations in NYC such as restaurants, amusement parks, bowling alleys, skating rings, movie theatres and poetry slams, etc. The group also organizes and gives expression to the gospel through activities such seminars, forum, debates, dance, choreography etc. The young adult ministry provides the platform for preaching the gospel by offering peers the opportunity to mount the pulpit to deliver a timely message from God. Not only that, through fellowship together, Praise and Worship, talents have been uncovered. Here your talent blossoms and made manifest to all.

MEDIA, PUBLICATION AND COMMUNICATION

The communication department is the umbrella under which several other smaller departments organize. Departments that are under this department are; the Announcing Department, the Master of Ceremony Role and the Public Relations role. The Announcing Department; Every Sunday during service an announcer reads and introduces the church to any first time visitor and reads an announcement before the song ministration and then the preaching of the message. There are a maximum of six (6) announcers at every time with four of them rotating on a regular basis and two (2) operating as stand-by announcers. The announcers are coordinated by one announcer who schedules and coordinates their activities. Any new announcement to the church is channeled through the coordinator and if necessary the coordinator will undertake the other procedures necessary for it to be announced or will educate you on the procedures necessary.

DOMINION MEN MINISTRY

Our mission is to rally men together, develop strong friendships and accountability among Dominion men through regular gatherings and group interaction. Our ultimate goal is to instill the character of Jesus Christ into every man who involves himself with the Men’s Fellowship.
